aventron takes the protection of personal data very seriously. We want you to know when we store which data and how we use it.

Personal data
Personal data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable (natural or legal) person. This includes information such as first name and surname, title, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, IP address and similar details.

Collection and storage of personal data
Depending on the website, registration and the creation of a user account may be required for the use of certain services. During registration, personal data such as surname, first name, e-mail address and any other data are collected and stored. In addition, personal data is collected and stored where it is required for orders, use of offers, participation in competitions etc.

aventron may also have personal data processed by third parties to this extent. It shall ensure that data security is guaranteed in such cases.

Non-personal usage data
When you use websites, the web servers register non-personal usage data in so-called log files. These log files contain your IP address, the last page visited, the browser used, the date, the time and the requested file or website. aventron evaluates this non-personal usage data in order to recognise trends, to compile statistics and to improve offers and products on the browser and the display devices or to gear them as best as possible to the needs of the customer.

Cookies
Cookies are used on the websites. A cookie is a short text file that is stored on your device and is used to analyse the use of a website and to store settings between visits. Cookies do not contain any personal data.

Most browsers are set to accept cookies automatically. However, you are free to set your browser so that cookies are generally rejected by selecting «do not accept cookies» in your browser setting. In this case, however, you may not be able to use all the functions of the website to their full extent.

Web analysis
aventron uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. to analyse usage (for more information on Google Analytics and how to deactivate the service, click here). The information generated by the cookies about your use of this website is transferred to a Google server and stored there. This server may be located outside of Switzerland (in the case of Google Analytics, in the USA). Google uses this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for aventron and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. If necessary, this information will be passed on to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of the tool providers.

Data Security
aventron operates secure data networks that comply with the applicable technical standards. Appropriate technical and organisational precautions are taken to conscientiously protect your data from loss, destruction, falsification, manipulation or unauthorised access.

Right to information
The Data Protection Act grants you the right to know free of charge whether aventron is storing personal data about you and, if so, which data. You also have the right to have incorrect data corrected and deleted. This is subject to statutory retention obligations.

Requests for information must be sent in writing together with a copy of an identity document to Primeo Energie, Data Protection Officer, Weidenstrasse 27, 4142 Münchenstein. Information will only be provided in writing after verification of identity to the postal address on file.
